What is the Mini Blueprint?
The Mini Blueprint is a one-off session designed to help you gain clarity on your story idea, structure or direction.
It’s especially useful if you’re at an early stage or feeling stuck and want an experienced outside perspective to help you see your project more clearly.
What does the Mini Blueprint include?
The Mini Blueprint includes:
- One coaching session (live or asynchronous, as agreed)
- Discussion of your story idea, worldbuilding, characters, and overall direction
- Clear observations and suggested next steps
This is a single-session service, not ongoing coaching.
What is First 30 Pages Feedback?
First 30 Pages Feedback is in-depth written feedback on the opening of your manuscript for three chosen elements, such as opening hook, character introduction, voice, worldbuilding, plot or narrative momentum.
What kind of feedback will I receive?
You’ll receive honest, story-level feedback, including:
- margin notes on your manuscript
- an editorial summary outlining strengths, concerns, and focus areas on the chosen elements
This is not meant for copyediting or proofreading.
Is this coaching or mentorship?
Neither. These are one-off services designed to give clarity and direction at a specific moment in your process. They don’t include ongoing support, accountability, or follow-up coaching.
Can I ask questions after receiving feedback?
Yes. Each option includes one short written follow-up to clarify questions about the feedback or session.
This is for clarification only, not additional critique or extended coaching.
Can I submit more than 30 pages?
No. The First 30 Pages option is intentionally limited to keep the feedback focused and actionable.
If you’d like feedback on additional material, this can be booked separately or discussed as part of another service.
Can this lead into longer-term work?
Of course. Many writers use the Mini Blueprint or First 30 Pages Feedback as a starting point before moving into the 3-Month Book Blueprint or ongoing coaching.
However, there is no obligation to continue.
Who is this a good fit for?
This offer works well if you want to understand what your story is doing and how to strengthen it, want clarity and honest feedback without a long-term commitment, or are open to thoughtful critique.
Who is this not for?
This may not be the right fit if you want ongoing support or accountability from a single session, are looking for reassurance or validation only or want line edits or proofreading.
How long does it take to receive feedback?
Mini Blueprint: our session’s date will be agreed upon when booking.
First 30 Pages Feedback: typically delivered within 10–14 days of submission.
